ManualCallPoint is a wireless, resettable manual call point designed for rapid activation of alarms and automation scenarios in critical situations. With Jeweller radio communication, programmable modes, and deep integration into the Ajax ecosystem, it can trigger fire alarms, run evacuation scenarios, and notify users and monitoring centres in seconds. The resettable frangible element and protective lid ensure reliability and prevent accidental activation.

System Integration
ManualCallPoint is part of the Ajax ecosystem and works with hubs, range extenders, automation devices, cameras, and MotionCam detectors. In a fire scenario, it can trigger fire detectors buzzers, activate intrusion sirens, de-energise circuits via WallSwitch, and enable emergency lighting and exits via Relay. All events are logged with precise timestamps and device identifiers, providing clear records for incident analysis and compliance.
Reliability & Supervision
The button mechanism is simplified to minimise moving parts and reduce failure risk in emergencies. Each device undergoes factory testing, and the system continuously supervises its status via Jeweller. Automatic self-diagnostics, regular polling, and instant maintenance notifications ensure the device remains ready without requiring frequent manual tests. A tamper alarm reports attempts to remove or dismantle the device from its SmartBracket panel.
Installation & Maintenance
ManualCallPoint is designed for fast, non-invasive installation using the SmartBracket mounting panel - there is no need to disassemble the enclosure. Pairing with the hub is done via QR code in the Ajax apps, and all configuration and testing can be performed remotely. After activation, the button is reset using the included special key, which can be carried on a keyring by the responsible person. The system notifies in advance when the batteries approach end of life, ensuring long-term, predictable operation.
