The Ajax Curtain Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless dual‑technology curtain motion detector designed for precise perimeter protection in both outdoor and indoor environments. With two PIR sensors, a K‑band microwave sensor, and an adjustable detection range up to 12 m, it delivers highly targeted coverage of doors, windows, fences, and narrow access paths while maintaining a near‑zero chance of false alarms.
Its unique optical system forms a narrow “curtain” of detection, with a vertical viewing angle of up to 85° and a horizontal angle of 8°. Pet immunity, temperature compensation, and SmartDetect algorithms ensure reliable detection of human movement while ignoring pets, vegetation, and thermal noise.

How It Works
Curtain Outdoor Jeweller creates a narrow, elongated detection zone that acts as a virtual barrier along doors, windows, fences, or building facades. Two PIR sensors monitor infrared changes in the protected area, while a K‑band microwave sensor verifies motion events to filter out thermal interference and environmental noise.
The detector’s range is adjusted mechanically via a slider on the enclosure, and sensitivity is configured in Ajax apps. In regular mode, any motion in the detection zone triggers an alarm; in pet immunity mode, the detector ignores animals up to 100 cm tall while still detecting human movement. Jeweller and Wings protocols provide encrypted, two‑way communication with the hub, including firmware updates and status supervision.
