Hub 2 (4G) combines Ethernet and dual 4G SIM communication channels to ensure continuous connectivity, fast alarm delivery, and reliable operation in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Using the Jeweller and Wings radio protocols, the hub provides long-range encrypted communication with detectors and instant transmission of photos during alarm events. How It Works
Hub 2 (4G) coordinates all Ajax devices, processes alarms, and transmits events to users and monitoring stations. According to the technical documentation, it supports three communication channels operating in parallel — Ethernet and two 4G SIM cards — ensuring continuous connectivity even during outages or network failures.
Jeweller handles commands, events, and alarms, while Wings transmits photo verification data. Both protocols use encrypted two-way communication, frequency hopping, and automatic power adjustment to maintain stable performance across large facilities.
Photo Verification
Hub 2 (4G) works with MotionCam detectors to deliver visual alarm verification in approximately 9 seconds. Photos are encrypted at every stage of transmission and stored securely, ensuring user privacy while providing critical situational awareness during alarm events.
